Bustlin' Barkin' Brewin' Bangalore

Hey ya'll. These shots are from my last trip to the (deep) south with Marco. We landed in Bangalore (now renamed Bengaluru, which by the way, no one is able to pronounce properly), without a plan, without reservations or even a faint idea as to how to get to Cochin (aka Kochi). With the help of some very kind souls at the airport we figured out our hotel for the night, our train to Kerala and a ride into the city all within an hour. So here are some shots of our Sunday in Bangalore, the greenest city I've visited in India. We mostly spent our day strolling through their Botanical Garden and a few other parks we stumbled upon. I fell in love instantaneously with the city's collection of diverse, giant and aged trees that were everywhere! The city is blessed with a fantastic climate all year round, combined with the (not so strict) maintenance and protection of the parks and gardens which results in a high level of ecological diversity, which is always good, good, great!

Back with more from Kerala!
Love,
Ro
